In love with my major

 When i was in school I assisted to a pre university of the “Universidad de Chile” and there I learned about my major. I searched for information about the career, and I loved it; I have been using a sewing machine since I was 11 years old and before that I sewed by hand since a lot before. I used to build sets for my toys, and I loved the process of making theater plays in my school, so when I learned about the career Theatrical Design I fell instantly in love.

But I never had the opportunity to actually study it because I didn’t have a good PSU score, so I gave up and when I was living in another city (Punta Arenas) and raising my daughter, who was only one year old, I realized that the last PSU that I did gave me the score that I needed to actually enter to this career, so I took the decision of getting into the career even though I had a really young daughter. Now am already in my third/fourth year and my daughter says that she wants to work with me when she gets older making dresses for dancers. It makes me happy to know that my decision was the right one.
